1.) Requests-If at all possible and necessary, make readable lists of specific songs and special announcements you may desire ahead of time. We carry an ipod with many musical selections for background. Of course we take casual requests if we know them and/or may have them on ipod.
2.) Arrival-In general, the band will arrive on the premises one half hour before your guests begin arriving (formal private events) -or 1 -2 hrs. (clubs, concerts or casual events), for setup. We will talk with the staff manager or host about where to set up and specific conditions. Please let us know in advance if there are stairs or if event is on the 2nd +floors.

3.) Outdoor Shows-In the case of outdoor events, a covered stage area (approximately 20’L by 8’W -flexible), (Ex., tent, garage, deck, gazebo, pavilion, porch), with sufficient electrical power, (2-3 dedicated 15 or 20 amp lines) will suffice. The band does not necessarily need to be on a ‘stage’ but cannot stand on grass/ground. (shocking!) This can always be discussed. We always work something out. Cover is necessary for rain or shine and may depend on the time of day. Water is dangerous with electrical gear!
4.) Music-We can supply background instrumental and/or any style music (with some preparation for special music) throughout your cocktail hour, dinner, Barb-B-Que, Pig Roast, Steak Fry, Chowder Fest or whatever. In lieu of a DJ Sound System, we can play many of the standard musical favorites that are popular. A sample list of some of those songs is at the end of this
writing. (If there’s something you want to hear or don’t want to hear, or perhaps a theme, please let us know in advance). Of course we will play songs on our song list live.
5.) Playing Time-The band plans to play three sets within a four hour playing span with two breaks. There is some flexibility.
6.) Hospitality- It can be a long day and we would hope a dinner and drinks invitation is included for the band. Preferably (but not necessary) a table away from your guests so
as not to intrude, or, in a more casual setting, right smack dab in the middle!
7.) Payment-All events are contracted with a nonrefundable deposit at time of signing. (unless for some unforeseen reason the band cannot play). The balance of the
bands agreed price is due before, during or immediately following performance unless other arrangements have been made. Cash (preferred), check or money orders are accepted, made out to Frank Pusateri. (Failed checks are subject to a $40 fee) Usually, but not always, party events are booked 6 months to one year in advance to assure
the date and all preparations. Prices vary depending on many factors. Holidays, distance, hours, DJ sound, special requests outside the norm, elevator/stairs/escalators to 2nd + floors,
specific garb (if requested) and unusual things unique to the event. Call us with a date and specifics for a quote. Please leave a name, phone number, cell, home & work,
and best time to call. No quotes online. No date is secure without a signed contract and deposit.
8.) Gratuity-always welcomed!
We want your party to be what you expect and have your guests remembering a great night of enjoyment. Your successful party is our success also.

Only Humen Private Party, Policies and Curiosities.

As a working band, we are often asked to perform at private parties or company
functions. Here are some tips, facts and guidelines to help get you acquainted with Only
Humen. Please understand that references here are for all types of parties, tailored to
their specific needs as much as possible.
Only Humen has performed at countless private functions for corporate,
police/fireman banquets and casual events, Church Lawn Fetes, Christmas parties,
New Years Eve and other various holidays as well as anniversaries, birthdays, summer
yard parties, going away/coming home parties, end of summer, beginning of summer,
Octoberfest, surprise parties, weddings (see wedding policies), opening act for many
national and semi national acts and an extensive array of clubs throughout WNY, PA
and OH. We do it all!
Everyone has different ideas on how they would like their party/function to go and
we respect that. Some are more casual, relaxed and laid back without formal wear,
while others are suits and evening dresses, while still others prefer tuxes and gowns. Sit
down dinners, family style, buffet, pizza and wings-whatever-so many choices! Many
are a mixture of various styles. Functions can be indoors, outdoors, in various halls,clubs, Legion Posts, backyards, banquet centers or a long list of places. The band
wears appropriate dress clothes but generally not tuxedos.

Only Humen Miss Buffalo "Spring Into Summer" Boat Cruise is Monday June 26, 2017  7p-10p $35
Only Humen Boat Cruises

Annually we partake on several fun boat cruises aboard both the Miss Buffalo 2 (Lake Erie, Buffalo, NY) and The Summer Wind (Lake Chautauqua, Celeron, NY). They are publicized well in advance for ticket sales and can sell out very quickly. There are some general rules that apply to both cruises and I will start with those and then separate the cruise standards for each boat. Actual play dates will be listed on our calendar.

Tickets are $35; You must be 21 with ID; Rain Or Shine; Raffles, Prizes, and Surprises, No Carry Ons (food or drinks); No Refunds; Tickets are limited; Boat leaves at designated times on time!; The Captain and bartenders reserve the right to refuse any patron that is without ID, rude, rowdy, using profanity or intoxicated. These are fun cruises, let’s keep it that way.

The Miss Buffalo 2 Boat Cruise-Includes free pop and cash bar for alcohol drinks, live music and usually an opening act followed by ‘The Party After’ (TBA) with a free light buffet, drink specials and more live music. The Spring into Summer Cruise is on the last Monday night at the end of June from 7pm-10pm. The Fall cruise is usually on a Sunday night in September from 6pm-9pm. The boat leaves from The Erie Basin Marina, Marine Dr. downtown Buffalo, NY and holds 185 people total (including band & entourage).
(Directions: From the 190n head towards Buffalo/Canada-get off at Church St. exit-turn right at Terrace St. (Adam’s Mark Hotel) – turn right at Erie St.-Follow around to Marine Dr. across from Templeton Landing Restaurant.)

The Summer Wind Cruise –Includes a different drink special each time-according to the Summerwind owners. Live music. The cruise is usually a Tuesday night in the middle of July or August (varies) and is from 7:30-9:30pm. A party after with food/drink specials TBA. The boat leaves from Celeron, NY Lucille Ball Memorial Park, off Fairmount Ave. Rt. 430, and holds 125 people. (including band & entourage).
(Directions: From Buffalo-90w to exit 59 Fredonia thru toll turn left 60s into Jamestown, turn right at 6th St. which becomes Fairmount Ave. Turn right at Dunham St. to the end-(don’t go in the water!)

As a working band, we are often asked to perform at wedding receptions. We are honored to be chosen and try to provide the Bride and Groom with all the courtesies and amenities they would expect within the reasonable restrictions we have. We will work hard to make your day the memorable event that you envision. We may from time to time make suggestions to help you along, using our years of experience as a guide. You may choose to use or disregard at your discretion, that is totally up to you.

It’s your day and we want it the way you want it.
